Invoking the Bard

How did it sound?
The roar from your mouth?
Can there ever be another?
Would that one be bountiful
Or merely more than clever.

I have been lucky
Paltry
Poor, at times
But lucky.

Vain, in vain
With antonomasia
Big-worded Bard
Of bawdy moments
I call your name.

I have been lucky
To have heard your words
And understood my paltry little.
